What BeFrienders Do
BeFrienders are trained volunteers who provide pastoral care to people in difficult & transitional situations, such as illness, loneliness, or loss of a loved one. They embody the caring presence of God & the faith community at St. James Lutheran Church.

How do I Request a BeFriender for Myself or a Member of St. James?
Contact our church Pastors or the office to request a follow up conversation. BeFriender Ministry brochures are located in the pew rack or at the information center & include information and a request form for BeFriender visits (place in the offering plate or turn in to the church office).

I am Interested in the BeFriender Ministry Training, How do I Learn More?
