Confirmation…a Milestone in Your Child’s Life of Faith
 
The confirmation experience at St. James is a combination of learning in a large group (with a small group component) two times per month and a service or fellowship time within your small group, one Wednesday per month.
 
Confirmation classes (large group) are always on Wednesdays from 6:30pm – 7:45pm. Service or Fellowship times on Wednesdays may vary due to the activity they are participating in. Parental support from the student as well as the Confirmation Program is an essential part of its success. There are many opportunities for you to volunteer and please consider the invitation to do so when asked.
 
Confirmation Expectations:
·         Weekly worship is an expected part of our Confirmation Program.
·         Each student is asked to Acolyte at one or more services per year.
·         On the Sunday that your student Acolytes, parents are expected to assist the Hospitality Team in the kitchen a half hour prior to the 8:30am service or help with clean-up of the coffee fellowship at 10:30am if your student is the acolyte at the 11:00am service.
