Minnesota Food Share

MARCH MN FOODSHARE RE-CAP:

Many thanks to everyone who donated money and food to the MN FoodShare in March.  We collected $6,588 which included a $3,000 match.  We also collected 100 pounds of food.  These donations will be split between the CAP Agency and 360 Communities. Thanks for your support of this important ministry.  Special thanks to our Church in Society Mission Team for all their efforts to make this a successful effort.

Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign, please consider:

  • Praying for those in need
  • Volunteering at 360 Communities or the CAP Agency
  • Donating food (see below)
  • Giving cash or a check made out to St. James.

Fill a grocery bag for a hungry family.  A donated bag of groceries can go a long way at your local food shelf.  By mixing and matching the items you choose, you can help a family eat balanced and nutritious meals.  The next time you are at the store, fill a bag for your local food shelf.  Items needed:  breakfast, lunch, dinner, toiletries, baby items, treats, special needs:  seniors, diabetics and ethnically diverse families.

Minnesota FoodShare: a program of the greater Minneapolis council of churches.  Uniting people of faith - serving people in need.
