Today we heard the story about how Jonah did not listen to God and actually tried to hide from Him. After being swallowed by a big fish, he prayed and asked God for forgiveness, and then finally did what God had originally asked him to do. For our craft the older kids made a whale that opens its mouth with the help of a clothespin and the younger kids made a simpler version using a cardstock picture and brass fastener.
