Today we heard the story from Exodus 1:22 - 2:10 about when Moses was a baby and his mother saved his life by putting him in a basket and floating it down the river, towards the Pharaoh’s house. We learned that God's protection is always there, even when we don't know it. He has a plan for us just as He did for Moses.
For our craft, the older grades constructed a basket for Baby Moses by sewing it with yarn and the younger grades curled paper with a pencil to make the bulrushes near the river where Baby Moses was floating in his basket.
