Our story today from 1 Samuel 17:4-11; 32-50 showed us that heroes can come in all shapes and sizes. David trusted that God would be by his side to help him win the fight against Goliath. And we can trust God to be with us. He is always by our side. For our craft we used a plastic cup and balloon to make a slingshot and aimed marshmallows and ping pong balls at rolled up pictures of Goliath!
